So, you’ve decided you would like to have a new kitchen, or maybe you want to upgrade your bath. And maybe you are building a new home, and are looking for a dependable source for quality cabinetry. We can help!
There are a few simple steps everyone should take to get started...
1. Try to get a good idea what you would like to have (or not) when the project is complete. Maybe you were at a friends house, and just loved the way their kitchen was laid out, or the color was just what you wanted. Or maybe you’ve seen Kitchens that just didn’t suit your taste. Either scenario, it will certainly help our designers to suggest a layout and cabinet style you like if you can let us know some things you would really like to have, or some things you would not care to see in your kitchen.
2. Create a general budget, or talk to your contractor about an allowance. It will certainly come in handy for you, and our designers, if we know how much you are willing to spend. If you are working with a contractor on a project, discuss cabinetry allowance figures with them. This will allow us to design a kitchen to fit your needs without any unnecessary options.
3. Get an estimate. We are happy to provide a free estimate to potential customers interested in our cabinetry. For this step, you will need to provide us with a semi-detailed drawing of the room which you will be putting cabinets in. While these plans may be hand drawn, they need to be to a common scale, or better yet, have detailed measurements. Example of a drawing. To receive an estimate, you will need to send us; Your name, location where cabinets will be installed, and a way to contact you (Phone, Fax, or E-mail). Generally it will take 5-10 Business days to receive an estimate.
4. Review the estimate. After you’ve received the estimate, take some time to review the options included. If you have any questions, contact the person who sent you the estimate. If you would like to have a visual representation of what was included, ask to setup a visit to our showroom, or have your designer point out the various options online. Also please review the lead time to be sure there are no schedule conflicts.
5. Move on with the project. After you’ve had time to review the estimate, it is time to make a decision whether, or not, you will proceed with the project. The most important thing is, that you let us know immediately so we can confirm your scheduled installation date. At this time you will need to set up an appointment to our showroom, to make your selections. You can read more about this in the next steps section.
